Afghan support in the UK is fragmented. The infrastructure to connect it barely exists.
BAAG dissolved. No successor exists.
The British and Afghan Action Group was the coordinating body for the sector. Its dissolution left a critical gap that no organisation has filled — until now.
Organisations work in isolation.
NGOs, government agencies, diaspora groups, and community organisations often duplicate work, miss connections, and fail to pool knowledge.
People fall through the cracks.
Without coordination infrastructure, individuals and families in need of support are lost between organisations. ABC exists to prevent that.
